Cha Hak Yeon, born in Changwon of Gyeongsangnam-do, is a South Korean singer-actor, presenter, and former radio host. He graduated from Howon University with a bachelor's degree in musical studies. In May 2012, he debuted under stage name N with the originally 6-member boy group "VIXX" with their single album "Super Hero". Before debuting with VIXX, he participated in the musical "Kwanghwamun Love Song" and entered dance competitions. His acting career began with his participation in the 2014 "Hotel King", Cha enlisted for his mandatory military service in March 2019 and was discharged in October 2020.
