Cha Seung Won is a South Korean actor and model. He received an engineering degree from Mokwon University before embarking on a successful career as a model in 1988. Although his 1997 debut film "Holiday in Seoul" and many of his subsequent roles did not establish him as a major star, he attracted attention in 2000 for his performance in the firefighting film "Libera Me". In 2014, he signed with YG entertainment. Cha married in 1992. He and his wife have two children, a son born in 1989 and a daughter born in 2003.
