He is a former professional South Korean footballer, who played as a right-back or a defensive midfielder, and a current KBS soccer commentator. He's also known as an Internet sensation, as he runs a YouTube channel hosting special training sessions (sometimes in collaboration with fellow footballer and YouTuber Lee Min-a) and covering national and international football, as well as his own experiences as a player. He has appeared in several variety shows. He also made an appearance in a web Korean drama - Girl In The Mirror which started airing in August 2023.
