Dae Sung, born in Itaewon, South Korea, is a singer and member of the K-Pop group BIGBANG (빅뱅) signed with R&D Company (알앤디컴퍼니). He attended Kyeong In High School, but he dropped out and focused more on the group. Then, in late 2008, he focused on university entrances and attended Kyunghee University in Seoul, graduating in 2008. In December 2022, Daesung left YG Entertainment (YG 엔터테인먼트) after sixteen years.
