Kim Jin Young, known professionally as DEX, is a South Korean YouTuber and former UDT/SEAL. He graduated from Suncheon Jeil High School. In 2016, he began serving his military service in the Navy and completed UDT/SEAL training. He was assigned to the Special Mission Battalion of the Naval Special Warfare Group (a counter-terrorism unit) for four years until he was discharged in early 2020. In 2021, he participated in "Toy Soldiers: Fake Men 2 The Complete" (가짜사나이/2기), where he gained recognition from the media. In 2022, his appearance in "Singles Inferno Season 2" gave him domestic and international popularity and he is now active in broadcasting and entertainment. He booked his debut acting role with the web drama "Tarot" (타로).
