Kim Soo Hyun is a South Korean actor currently managed by GoldMedalist. His paternal half-sister Kim Ju Na is a singer. Soo Hyun initially debuted on television with a supporting role in the family sitcom "Kimchi Cheese Smile" in 2007. However, his breakthrough performance was in the 2011 teen drama "Dream High" for which he gained a significant amount of attention. Kim Soo Hyun's acting skills and charming personality have made him one of the most sought-after and highest-paid actors in South Korea. He has won numerous prestigious awards throughout his career, including four Baeksang Arts Awards, two Grand Bell Awards, and one Blue Dragon Film Award. He has also been featured on Forbes Korea Power Celebrity 40 list multiple times, including in 2021, and was named one of Forbes' 30 Under 30 Asia in 2016. In 2014, Kim Soo Hyun was appointed Goodwill Ambassador of Seoul. Additionally, in March 2015, he was recognized as a model taxpayer by the local tax office for faithfully paying his taxes every Tax Day. Kim Soo Hyun gained immense popularity overseas with his appearances in the fantasy rom-com "My Love from the Star" and the variety-drama "The Producers," which earned him three Daesang (Grand Prize) awards. A passionate bowling enthusiast, Soo Hyun even applied to become a professional bowler in 2016. He ranked 10th out of 114 participants in his first try-out tournament but unfortunately fell short of the 200 points needed to qualify on his second attempt. After completing his mandatory military service, Kim Soo Hyun made a successful return to acting with the romance drama "It's Okay to Not Be Okay."
