Kim You Jung, born in Seoul, South Korea, is an award-winning actor under Awesome ENT ((주)어썸이엔티). She studied at Goyang High School of Arts. Her older sister Kim Yeon Jung is also an actress. Starting out as a child model, she made her acting debut at the age of only four. At five, she won the Most Popular award in a contest that her older sister had joined despite not being one of the contestants. She signed with Awesome ENT following the expiration of her contract with SidusHQ.
