Nadech Kugimiya is an actor and model of Thai and Austrian descent. He is the adopted child of Yoshio Kugimiya and Sudarat Kugimiya who is also his biological aunt. His nickname "Barry" comes from his original nickname "Brand". He graduated from Rangsit University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts majoring in Film and Video and is currently continuing his Master's degree. Nadech started his career as a model at the age of seventeen. In 2010, he made his feature drama debut in a leading role in 'Ngao Rak Luang Jai' as Nawa. He gained immense popularity after he starred in 'Duang Jai Akkanee' as Fai and 'Game Rai Game Rak' alongside "Yaya" Urassaya Sperbund. He is also a member of the group called 4+1 Channel 3 Superstar with Mario Maurer, Prin Suparat, Pakorn Chatborirak, and Phupoom Pongpanu. He has an exclusive contract with Channel 3 (Thailand). Nadech is one of the highest-paid performers in Thailand. He's referred to as "King of Presenters," having endorsed many major brands including Shopee, OPPO, 7-Eleven and Air Asia. Additionally, Nadech has received more than one hundred and thirty awards including the Best Actor award at the Suphannahong National Film Awards, Mekhala Awards, Nataraja Awards, and TV Gold Awards. On 27 March 2019, via the show SorayuthLive, Nadech Kugimiya confirmed the rumours that he and Yaya were dating. They have been in a relationship since 2011. On 5 June, 2023, Nadech and Yaya announced their engagement.
