Nikaido Satoshi is a Japanese actor from Tokyo. He graduated from the Faculty of Humanities, Wako University. He is a 6th gen member of Furano Juku. He belongs to Agent Office Tact. While attending university, he enrolled in a TBS training school for one year. In 1993, he made his drama debut with "Oka no Ue no Himawari". In 2003, he entered Hollywood with the movie "The Last Samurai". His second Hollywood movie appearance was in 2007 in the movie "Babel," which received numerous awards and nominations, including an Academy Award (composition award). His sister is actress Nikaido Chihiro.
