Purim Rattanaruangwattana, nicknamed Pluem, is an actor under GMMTV born and raised in Chiang Mai. In 2020, he graduated from the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration at Chiang Mai University. His father is of Chinese descent. Pluem is a former professional badminton player but has been troubled by injury. In 2015, he participated in Chiang Mai Province badminton tournament as a student-athlete and won second prize in men's singles. In 2017, he was the winner of his college freshman badminton tournament. In order to fulfil his childhood dream of becoming a policeman, Pluem went to a supplementary school. While passing by the his studio there, Pluem met the film director Chookiat Sakveerakul who cast him in his 2013 film" Grean Fictions." Pluem initially thought he would end his acting career soon thereafter, but he grew fond of it after doing more films and shows. For his role in "Happy Birthday," he was nominated for" Best Actor in a Supporting Role" at the 24th Asian Television Awards (2020). Beyond acting, Pluem was formerly the bassist of the now-defunct rock band SLEEP RUNWAY from 2015 to 2016. Nowadays, he owns a pub called Too Nice located in Chiang Mai.
