The background of “2049” is set in 2049, 30 years later. The story begins with Chinese culture and values, and presents the Chinese social issues of the future all over the world. The first season starts from Taipei and includes: “Perfect Predictions” for human beings controlling their destiny through big data; “Hedgehog Rules” for healing the trauma through new consultative techniques; “White Lies” for relying on communication aids to solve marital problems. Three short stories bring out three typical female roles: mother, daughter and wife. The TV series are expected to expand the audience’s imagination of future life and will make them reflect on the value of Chinese women. The second and third season will continue to be developed and will be launched within three years.
