When We Met Episode 1
Description: Set in the humid summer of 2012 within a quiet, small town in the south of China, the romantic drama When We Met tells a touching story of unexpected connection. Peng Yun, a divorced shopkeeper trying to navigate his quiet life, crosses paths with Ji Qing Qing, a hard-working woman who earns her living selling delicious meat skewers from her modest rickshaw. As their paths repeatedly cross in the warmth of the southern summer, an unlikely bond begins to form between these two lonely souls. Each finding comfort in the other's company, they begin to heal from past wounds. Adapted from a popular extra story in the acclaimed novel Dou Shen Me Nian Dai Le A by Qi Xiao Huang Shu, this heartfelt film beautifully captures the essence of fate, second chances, and the simple joys of finding love in the most ordinary places. Experience a nostalgic journey about life, love, and new beginnings.
